This article was stimulated by a conversation with the team at Oliver Wyman preparing ideas for the World Economic Forum meeting at Davos in 2021. They asked ‘What do you think are the most important things which need to happen to Build Back Better’. These four building blocks were what sprung to mind. The inspiration for these was my reading of the brilliant books HumanKind by Rutger Bregman and Capital and Ideology by Thomas Piketty. Highly recommended reads.
